Of all the teachers Ihad in my lifetime, Sr. Humbert stands out for all the right reasons. She was ki d, mis hevious but above all, a brilliant teacher. She prepared me for leavi g cert English 1966/1967 in Domi ican College, Eccles. St. She instilled a life long love of reading and appreciation of literature. I never forgot her. RIP.condolonces to you all. M
Sincere sympathy to Sr Humbert’s family and Dominican Community. She was a wonderful English teacher and, besides getting us well through Leaving Certificate, she instilled a life-long interest in Yeats, Milton, Shakespeare and many more . These were old Eccles Street days and because of Sr Humbert, they are joyous days to remember. May the songs of the angels welcome her in heaven.

I was very sorry to heat of Sr. Mary Humbert's passing. She was a dedicated Dominican and an example to us all.
I was really sorry to hear that Sister Mary Humbert had passed away . I have very fond memories of her .She was a very good friend of my uncle who was a French Dominican priest Father Amans Aussibal. The last time I saw her , it was in Paris at the opening of the Collège des Irlandais. Her French was really good.
I wish I had seen her again before she died
