My deepest sympathy to all the Switzer family and friends on the loss of the lovely Sr. Augustine. She was the kindest and most lovely nun as both teacher and Principal in Presentation Terenure while I was there in the 60's. She was so tall and beautiful and we all pure adored her! R.I.P.

She was Principal of the National School when I attended in the mid 70's for two years. She was my friend as a young child. Always supplying Catch Bars.
I've often though of her over the years. Such a kind woman.

My deepest condolences to Sr. Augustine's family and friends. She was my School prinicipal in Presentation primary when I met her. She has had such a major influence on my life. Her light and love and kindness meant the world to me. I will always remember the fruit pastilles she kept in her drawer in her office and how she would offer one on a bad day! I tell her story often. I am so grateful to have met her and so sad to hear of her passing. May she Rest in Peace.

Sr. Augustine was so kind and supportive to my children on the death of their mother in 1981 when she was principal in Terenure. Our friendship lasted to the end. We had many good laughs. She was such a gentle and kind soul. May she rest in Peace.

We would like to extend our sympathies to the Presentation sisters and family of Sr. Mary Augustine.
She was a young teacher to our mother, Evelyn Crummey ( aged 82 years )
and she passed on a deep respect and love of Education to her. They remained great friends until
Mary Augustine’s recent passing.
Our parents, Evelyn and Frank Crummey, consequently sent all their daughters and son ( for a short time! ) to Presentation, Terenure. We all have very fond memories of the progressive education we received under her leadership in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

My deepest condolences to all on the passing of Sr. Augustine. She was my primary school principal in the 80s and along with Sr. Pauline was particularly kind to our family when my mum got sick. I later used to hear about her from Sr. Imelda when she would visit her sister in the nursing home where I worked. May she rest in peace, a wonderful lady whose lifes work was certainly done.
