It is with great sadness I learned of the passing of Sr. Mary or as I knew her as my teacher Miss Sibbald what a wonderful teacher she was I learned so much from junior infant's to second class every day was a wonderful day in Miss Sibbald s room from making puppets and putting on a puppet show to playing in the post office she had Billy Johnson make When we played in the post office we were learning about money and we didn't realise Sr. Mary was a teacher before her time May Sr. Mary's Soul Rest In Peace Fly High With The Angels

I was sad to hear of the death of Sr Mary (May). She was an inspiration to all the girls in Rathvilly. Sr Mary achieved so much and we were all so proud when she became a teacher in Rathvilly. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
