My sympathies to all of Sr. Mary's family and the Bons Secure community. I worked with Sr Mary for a number of years in the medical records department. She was very passionate about the records division and this dedication flowed downwards to her staff. We use to have great chats and laughs at the canteen. She was someone who was devoted to those close to her and spoke about them often. I'm sure she is close by family at this sad time.

Sincere condolences to all Sr Mary’s family and her Bon Secours community. What a joy it was to have known Sr Mary. I worked in the Bon Secours hospital, Glasnevin as a nurse for over 25yrs. At one stage, I worked closely with her on the development of new forms for the patient record. She was instrumental along with Sr Eileen O’Connor and a wonderful team including Sr John Marie O’Keefe (RIP) and Mr Gareth Jones (RIP) in the Bons Glasnevin being awarded the first private Irish hospital to achieve JCI accreditation. What a fabulous memory so many of us have of those celebrations. We became firm friends. She loved to hear all about my family and was always supportive of me in my nursing career. She was creative and crocheted beautiful christening blankets for our twin girls which we treasure. She often called up to the surgical Dayward to say Hello and oooh how she loved to chat! Her family meant the world to her as did her Bons community. She was smart, diligent, respectful, devoted and tricky all in one. I loved her. Rest in peace Sr Mary. xx
