Deepest sympathies to the O'Connell family and the Sisters of Mercy. I have fond memories of "Sister T", my second grade teacher, grammar school principal, high school counselor and family friend. As I grew older, I considered her my friend too. It was my great joy that she got to meet my oldest son when he was a baby 15 years ago. God called home a kind, funny, caring, wise, and just the right level of strict, servant. She was truly a blessing to have in our lives. Rest in peace.

God speed, Teresa! For her family, please know that she will be forever missed by myself and all who loved her from Arroyo Grande, CA. She spent many years here to the benefit of many, many people. I am so glad I got to visit her in Ennis in 2016, when she was in excellent spirits and we had a wonderful visit with the Sisters who had been in Arroyo Grande. Sr. Teresa had arranged the whole visit and I am forever grateful for her hand in that. God bless Teresa and her family.

Sincere sympathy
So sorry the hear of Teresa’s death . She was an extremely interesting person and faithful follower of Catherine McCauley . She had a very broad vision of life and was a progressive person in her religious outlook , which was a very admirable trait . In many ways her heart was in the American mission though she settled in well to the Irish scene . Those of us who knew her will miss her . After her years of good work May the good Lord welcome her home .
