We have fond childhood memories of Sr. Veronica ( Bernadine) . She was multi talented. She turned the heel of a sock for me -my homework in Primary school ! during one of our many visits to our Aunt Sr. Dympna .

We only knew her as Sr. Bernardine with a skip in her step and a soft gentle voice and a beautiful smile . She taught us all the set dancing down in the basement and entered us in all the competitions. She never said a cross word to us and we really loved those times with her. She was a most beautiful soul, always happy and cheerful no matter when you met her. Her talent at music, dance and needlework was unique. I have beautiful memories of spending time in her presence during my time at school in Holy Rosary College and after. You will be sorely missed in Mountbellew Sister Veronica.
