Sr Maureen Gainey

Maureen was the most gorgeous person, both inside and out, and I know her soul is with God in Heaven because of the love and kindness she showed everyone she met along the way. My sincere condolences to Bernie, Eabhin, Cliodhna and all the Gainey family. I hope you find support in each other and comfort in the beautiful memories you all share about Maureen. May she rest in peace.

I was very sorry to hear of Maureen’s death. My thoughts are with the Gainey and LSU family at this time. Maureen was a counsellor for students of the College, and at times staff - she made a huge difference to the lives of many in that role and by who she was as a person. She had a great sense of humour in the middle of all and was a wonderful colleague. May Maureen rest in peace. May good memories sustain you as you miss her. I am sorry that I couldn’t be there at her funeral.
