Like (and with) Sr. Margaret Ann Agnew I spent my early years after Profession in Dun Lughaidh. I worked in Hammil's House where Maureen helped train in the greenhorn from Mayo.

Sr Maureen taught me in 5th & 6th class in st Louis. In later years she was a good customer, she always had a story or two to tell , my husband Eamonn really enjoyed her quick wit. May she rest in peace 🙏

I sent my sincere sympathy to the Redmond family, to especially to Sheila who was my classmate in Carrickmacross,1953-‘58. I spent my early years after profession in community with Maureen in Dun Lughaidh, Dundalk. We had a cordial relationship and found that we had a lot of common interests, due to our shared backgrounds. May she rest in the peace of God.

Sr Maureen taught me in fifth and sixth class at primary school and sadly my father passed away during that time. Sr Maureen took me under her wing and was so kind to me, guiding me through those two difficult years.

Sincere sympathy to the Redmond family and to the Sisters of St Louis from a past pupil. I have great memories of being in Sr. Maureen’s Special Choir and performing our Christmas Carol Service in Halla San Lughaidh. We were so proud dressed in our white blouses and black velvet string tie bows. We just loved it all. It was a great honour to be chosen for Sr. Maureen’s special choir.
