I send my deepest Sympathy to the Ursuline Order, relatives and Friends of Sr Pius O Grady on her recent passing .We offer our Thoughts ,Memories and Prayers at this Time
Celebrating her life , Sr Pius had a lovely sense of Humour and empathy .Meeting Sr Pius with Mother Brid at Saint Angela s College 1960s /70 when designing and Building additional Classrooms at Saint Angela s College and at the Ursuline College Finisklin ,it was a learning experience as I negotiated between St Angela s ,the department of Education and my Company. Mother Brid and Sr Pius were wonderful women in Business and Education I always looked forward to the pot of Tea and Home made Scones with two wonderful Ladies during my visit to Saint Angela s College Lough Gill and our Serious Negotiations
Later I had the pleasure of meeting Sr Pius at Evening Classes which I Organized at Ballinode College and again we met at Dromahair when she visited . an endless worker and Educator was my friend Sr Pius Rest in Peace Sr Pius and Mother Brid OSU

Sincere sympathy to all on the loss of Sister Pius. Teacher and mentor. Work done, rest in peace
We are deeply saddened by the death of our former teacher and friend Sr. Pius.
We will always have treasured memories of her in St. Angela’s College.
She was warm, enthusiastic, caring and expected the best from all of us.
May all those whose lives she touched remember her with love.
Sincere sympathy to Sr. Pius’s family and friends. She was a most unique lady who did so much for so many students who passed through St. Angela’s College. She was humble, thoughtful, empathetic and wonderfully witty and she extended these gifts to everyone she came into contact with. A privilege to have known her well. May her genuinely gentle soul rest in peace.
Rip sr pius you were a truly amazing woman and so kind 2 all the girls includining my two girls
I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of my beloved Pius who used to ring me frequently . She knew my Father John Robert ( Bob) Whitty as did Mother brid and Sr. Angela when St.Angelas’ first began . I will remember you for your empathy , sense of humour and the love I had for you ( as you taught me many years ago ). I have just lost my best beloved frien and confidante. May you rest in peace my darling friend .
My sincere condolences to the Ursuline Community on the passing of Sr.Pius. She was a lady of great integrity and had wonderful interest , support and respect for us all in St.Angelas as students and in years after.( maybe because I was from Ballaghadereen!) A kind lady . I remember her with gratitude. May her soul rest in peace.
RIP Sr. Pius, memories of the old days in the Ursuline.
