Sincere and heartfelt condolences to Sister Regina's family, friends and the Presentation Community. I had the privilege of being taught by her many decades ago. Not only was she a wonderful human being, kind, gentle and generous to all of her students, she was also an inspiring and innovative teacher. The sound track to her Art classes was Gaudeamus Igitur and even now, whenever, I hear that song ,it reminds me of those happy days in the old Presentation School. Rest easy, Sister Regina.

Deepest sympathies to Sister Regina’s family and to her Presentation Community in Galway.
May she’ Rest In Peace
I had the privilege of being taught by Sr.Regina for my 5 years in Secondary school. I loved art and particularly the history of art. I was no artist, I recall her leaning over my shoulder examining my work, then asking if i was enjoying myself and to carry on. Despite my lack of talent she never discouraged me from trying. I adored art history because of her and when i finally got to the Metropolitan museum of Art in NYC I had to send her a postcard telling her i was appreciating it and understanding it because of her. She was way ahead of her time. R.i.p Sr Regina, one of the best.

Condolences to the Presentation Sisters and to the Walsh family on the death of Sister Regina. It 's been many decades since she taught me Art and Latin ( L. C 1971 ) but I have happy, happy memories of her classes. She was enthuastic, encouraging and shared her love of both subjects with tireless effort and energy. Her approach to Art was innovative and I really enjoyed and looked forward to her classes. Her knowledge of all aspects of Latin was breathtaking and inspiring.
