I have just learned of the death of my lovely Rose. I am so saddened . To think I missed her funeral by a few days . I visited her every summer and Christmas in Mullingar. We had lunch and I brought her some groceries . Always such a sweerheart . I enjoyed my trips and was planning to go soon again . I am sad sad . We lost touch recently as phone calls were not so satisfactory in later times. My children loved her also especially my son . They were partners in crime .

Vale Sr. Rose. I first met Rosie when she moved to Sydney and became involved in the GROW Movement.
I got to know her and
worked with her in Australia and Ireland over many years.
She will be remembered for her devotion, and commitment,,she was always hard working but could be quite a challenge she also had a delightful sense of humour.
I last met her for lunch while visiting Dublin about 3 years ago. Her health was poorly then but she still had that unique spark. RIP Rosie
