The death has occurred of Sr Rose Anne Doherty, late of Clongawney, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and The Institute of Sisters of Mercy, Rockhampton, Australia.
Doherty, Sr Rose Anne, 28th October 2019 peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham, Co Westmeath. Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Rose, step-mother Margaret (Maggie) late of Clongawney, Mullingar, her sister Maureen Lynam, brother Thomas Desmond,sister in law Marie, brothers-in-law Pat Lynam and Kenneth Maher (Monasterevin).
A member of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia & Papua New Guinea based in Rockhampton, Australia for many years Sr Rose is survived by her many Institute Sisters and Leaders, her step-sister Anne Maher (Monasterevin) her many cousins, relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home on Wednesday October 30th from 4pm until 6pm with removal thereafter to the Cathedral of Christ The King arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10am followed by burial afterwards in Walshestown Cemetery.
