One of the mottos of the Dominican Order is To Praise, To Bless, To Preach. Sr. Rose Imelda Clarke's very full life was a living out of those three great daily tasks with energy, conviction and dedication.. Those of us who were blessed to have known her were always touched and uplifted by the warmth of her smile, the sincerity and wisdom of her words,, the enthusiasm with which she enjoyed life. community, friendship and fun. Her Dominican sisters and all who lived in and visited Our Lady of Fatima Home experienced her goodness, gentleness, warmth, support and kindness. She was a woman of deep faith whose Dublin/Ballybough roots moulded her into the wonderful person that she was. Celebrating the 70th anniversary of her Dominican religious profession brought her immense joy and satisfaction. May her lovely,, lively, happy, generous and faith-filled soul now be enjoying the eternal smile on God's face in Heaven. May Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena welcome you to your eternal home. Leaba agat i measc na naomh.
Vincent.

The sad passing of Sr Rose closes a chapter in the life and commumity of the Dominican Sisters of Our Lady of Fatima Home. Sr Rose dedicated her life helping others, always with a smile and encouraging word. We often referred to Sr Rose as the Dominican Duracell Bunny, such was her energy and vitality. Sr Rose might have been small in stature, but big in heart and her passing is mourned by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. To her family, the staff and Dominican Sisters we offer our condolences on your sad lass. Our lives were enriched having met Sr Rose.
