It was a blessing to know Sr. Sheila during her years in Ireland after her gifted 60 years of missionary presence in Pakistan. RIP. Her funeral liturgy in Curraheen Church and burial in Pres. Convent cemetery were a beautiful final tribute to her from family, friends and Presentation Sisters..and I want to congratulate the Clergy, the many family members and all the people of the area and farther afield, for the simplicity and richness of the celebration. Utube did a splendid rendition of the events "for all the world "to see and share. Thanks

I am very sad to hear about the death of our beloved Sr Sheila r.i.p I saw her first time in Sargodha small school when I was in grade one and since I entered the convent we had many many years of her committed simple life as our role model we have lost a very good sister and especially friend of the poor May God continue to reward her for all she was and did for our people here in Pakistan.we thank her family for generously sharing her with us I thank you Sr Sheila for all your services here you will live in our hearts forever the seed of Faith you have sown will continue to bear fruits in the form of Pakistani sisters and people that you had empowered may you rest in peace Amen

Over these last two years, you were my companion on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I feel truly blessed to have been able to give you special and comfortable moments as your caregiver. But so many times, you were the one who took care of me — without even knowing it — simply by giving me a smile on days when I wasn’t feeling okay.

Caring for you meant climbing the stairs ten or twelve times in one afternoon. It meant seeing your face light up with happiness. It meant knowing you would sometimes send me away, or tell me to do everything very fast — and somehow, even that became part of the love we shared.

Wherever you are now, you will be my angel.
Please know that I will always remember you with love, gratitude, and a heart full of beautiful memories.
You brought light, meaning, and quiet happiness into my life — and that will stay with me forever. 🤍✨

Sr Sheila has been a member of our community before moving to Cork city a few years ago. Joyful, generous, and a great storyteller, she introduced us to the Urdu language and the wonders of Pakistan. Following in the footsteps of Nano Nagle, Sr Sheila inspired many. May she join the company of the saints! Sympathy is offered to her brother Peter, to the extended Keane family, and to the many in Pakistan and Ireland who mourn her passing.

Sr. Sheila was a wonderful person who loved everyone. She played a very important role in the life of my family.SheShe helped me more than words can ever fully express. Her support left a lasting mark on who I am today, and her presence will always be remembered with gratitude and love. Though she is no longer here, what she gave me will never be gone.

With deep sorrow I express and remember Sr. Sheila as she has departed and gone to heavenly Father. I was a young novice, junior and even after my final profession I have beautiful memories of our dear Sheila. She was a great missionary. A very dedicated, committed, prayerful and advocate of the poor. May she rest in Peace and give consolation to her family and Presentation family in Pakistan and Ireland.

Sincere sympathy to all of Sr Sheila's family and friends. I met her in 2005 on a brief visit to Pakistan. She was a wonderful lady and very dedicated to the children who were lucky to be in her care. She was inspirational and such a wonderful character. I have never forgotten the amazing welcome we got on visiting the school. Heavens gain is our loss. RIP Sr Sheila.

Shiela was my novitiate companion in Bailieboro County Cavan. We were good friends and traveled to Pakistan together. Before leaving for USA i said farewell to her in Rawalpindi…after all those years she came to visit me at Knock with !Mary Quinn in I think 2018 … oh I am so sorry to hear of her passing but now for sure she has a golden crown for all her work with the poor…she was loved by all and spoke Urdu fluently..I love you still my companion and now at God’s throne pray for me. I remember her talking about her little brother Peter who played the piano for us in Bailieboro!!! Good bye again Sheila pray for us . Amen … love Sister Angela your companion..
