We are saddened to learn of Sister Sheila's passing. In 1996 my mother, Mercedes Schrier of Traer, Iowa, USA, R. I. P., wrote to the Boyle families on Inch Island to inquire about visiting. They asked Sister Sheila to respond to the correspondence. We visited Callan and Sister Sheila twice - in 1997 and again in 2000. She was so kind and knowledgeable about the family, and always wrote cards at Christmas and St. Patrick's Day to tell us of he news of her family and our family on Inch - my Great Grandmother Mary Boyle Griffin grew up on Inch, the emigrated to the U.S.
Our sympathies and prayers go with Sister Sheila to her reward in heaven for a life well lived.
