Sr Ursula was a close personal friend of my late Mum Josephine (Spriggs) and her family. Leading an incredible team at Cobh Hospital, she provided great care, comfort and compassion to all in her care where Jesus and Mary were central to her vocation and care.

I will forever cherish the memories of my late Uncle, Fr Spriggs celebrating Holy Mass at the Hospital and for being welcomed to sing for the patients on Saturday mornings at all times welcomed by Sr Ursula.

May Sr Ursula's soul forever rest in peace...

Sr Ursula was a big influence in me becoming a Nurse.I had the privilege of knowing her as a secondary school kid on work experience.Then I came to Cobh Community Hospital as a Nurse.With her quiet determination she ran Cobh Community Hospital with compassion.The greatest lesson I learnt from her was it’s the small acts of kindness are what makes a good Nurse.She left a legacy that will never be quantifiable.But I am grateful to have known this quiet hard working lady.RIP Sr Ursula ❤️
