I met Sr.Vera many years ago in the Dominican retreat house in Tallaght and we kept in touch. She was gentle, generous, humble, hard working and a special Sister. It was a privilege for me to have known her.

My sincere sympathy with Vera's family and her extended LSA family on her death, fittingly on the day after the great feast of Mary's Assumption. I had been praying for her, and now she is at peace after a life of offering generous service.
