Sincere condolences to the family of Sr Carmel and to her Mercy family. She was an inspirational person in her singing and her teaching, an educator ahead of her time. Her love of national children's choir and the endless hours of coaching she put in for same will forever stay with my fond fond memories of her. I helped her to set up the first computer to ever grace the premises of Scoil an Chroí Ró Naofa, neither of us knowing what we were doing. She grew up living close to my two cousins who both joined the priesthood.....indeed she spent many hours trying to draw me into religious life, a life she loved😊.
