When I used to say Mass at the convent, Sr. Magdalen was the head servant in the kitchen where she dispensed hospitality, humour and warmth in equal measures.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Presentation Sisters on the loss of another Sister so soon. Sr. Magdalen was a soft spoken lady with a great sense of humour and a pragmatic view on life. For years she was the first contact on visiting and the “Mother” making sure fellow sisters and visitors were well looked after. She bore her long illness with courage and acceptance. May she rest in peace.
