My sincere, prayerful sympathy to Sr. Mary's family, relatives and her Holy Faith Congregation. From 1981-1990 I was chaplain to Holy Child Junior School and part of the School Board of Management. Sr. Mary was a wonderful principal, kind to staff, pupils and parents. She taught me many valuable lessons in school management and chaplaincy, particularly in her preparation of children for the Sacraments, always meticulous in her approach and commitment. It was always a joy to visit the school under her care. Sr. Mary truly lived Margaret Aylward's spiritual vision for the educational betterment of all pupils in her care. She leaves a great legacy. Suaimhneas agus siochan na bhflaitheas di.
