Rest in Peace Sister Sinéad. Thank you for all you did for my family and for so many Kenyans.

My heart felt condolences at the death of our dear Sinead. She was truly a remarkable and gifted woman.

We were also privileged to have Sinead as a member of the IBVM Loreto Sisters English Province for many years following her apostolic zeal in Kenya.

Sinead was a wonderful member of the English Province and was both on our Province Council and later a Superior in one of our London Houses. I was so delighted to have worked with her on Council and I truly enjoyed her companionship during these years. She was a bright spark! I also want to thank Sinead most sincerely for the way she and my dear sister Annie formed community in St Albans. It was without doubt, the best of times and I have very happy memories of those years.
Rest in Peace now dear Sinead.

Loreto Schools in England remember with gratitude the encouragement that Sinead gave to us when we were setting up the Loreto Education Trust. She was fun to work with and we have very fond memories of her. May she rest in peace.

I would like to thank Sr. Sinead for the positive impact she had on my peers and I. This was in the early eighties as we set foot into Catholic Parochial School, adjacent to the Holy Family Basilica in Nairobi, Kenya.

Your memory is forever etched in our hearts.

I was a student at Catholic Parochial in Nairobi Kenya, while she was the headmistress.

She cultivated my drawing ability which has fed me and my family to date!

Thank you for taking to heart, the plight of the poorest of the poor in Kangemi. You did a big job and thousands will have better lives due to this, for many years to come. I enjoyed hearing about your experiences each time you came home to visit. I still have a letter you wrote to me about your life in Kenya.A true servant of God and an inspiration.

We knew Sr Sinead from being receptionists at the Dalkey convent. Sr Sinead was always so nice and kind to us. We loved looking through her scrap book with her and hearing all the amazing stories from her life. She was an inspiring woman. May she rest in peace.

I have many fond memories of Sr. Sinead from her time as our Headmistress at Catholic Parochial School, Nairobi.

She was firm but always fair and left a strong impression on me in my formative years.

Thank you for your compassionate care and love for young children. We were blessed to have you.

Sinead was a young nun when I was at school in Coleraine. She was always very "alive" and genuinely interested in everyone. I was so glad I went to see her a few weeks ago in Our Lady's Manor.

So very sorry to hear about Sister Gertrude as we knew her in Loreto Coleraine.
