Mr Kingston was a very kind individual and the epitome of what Wesley should strive to turn out. He also had a great sense of humour and was one of those teachers with whom students could have a relaxed relationship, while still respecting him. I remember getting into trouble in my later years at Wesley and him interceding on my behalf. I am very sad to have heard the news. My condolences to the family – a wonderful, interesting, decent man.

Memories of Stanford with a glint in his eye an the possibility of something eccentric afoot! Great love and hugs to Sarah and all the Kingston family in these tough times.
We miss your soft-spoken words, measured, bound in humour.
We miss that glint in your eyes and the pointed finger.
Mostly we miss the stature of the man,
And today we search traces of you among the terrace chairs and tables.
Never has it been such a forlorn place.
