Shocked & saddened to hear of Stellas sudden passing.

I'll be eternally grateful to her for indulging my love of dogs long before I was lucky enough to get my own, she let me tag along on dogs walks, vet visits and the dog shows in the RDS. They are some of my fondest memories growing up in Whelan House.

Sad farewell to a real character we had living amongst us all, a couple of rows here and there thats life init looking back summing it all up, stella you were amazing. Rest in peace.

I am very sad to read the passing of Stella. I first met Stella when she arrived back in Ireland from living in Italy and visiting her sister Margaret next door. As a young girl I thought she was beautiful, exotic and was fascinated that she could speak Italian and had lived abroad - something of a rarity those many moons ago. She was a lovely person and always had time to say hello and chat and was always kind to us younger ones. Stella may your star shine on brightly. My condolences to Margaret and all the family.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Margaret and family on Stella's sudden and unexpected passing. We all have fond memories of her from Whelan House. The flats will not be the same now that she has passed and she will be missed by so many. She was unique, witty and was very kind to the children of Whelan House. She also loved her poodles and Geneva will miss her. Not many of us can say that we were born, reared and passed away in our own home which Stella did that was a great blessing. Stella will be kept alive by all those who loved, met and chatted to her and the wonderful memories that they have of her will keep her alive forever in their hearts. Rest in Peace.
