I've just heard the very sad news of Stella's passing.
I remember her from when she worked in Scoil Mhuire Senior. She was a lovely lady, genuine, friendly and caring.
Herself and Margaret Hanna (RIP) were as thick as thieves. Their laughter echoed around the school building.
Stella spoke non stop about her husband and her children.
Deepest sympathy to Edel, Tara and all your family on the sad loss of your lovely mam.
May Stella rest gently in the arms of the angels.

Stella, what a woman, a character. I have so many fond memories growing up, sleep overs, sing songs and most of all love, kindness and just a damn good person. Stella a Wonderful friend to my mother. I last seen you in hospital when my mam was so sick we laughed and talked about your mum and how selective she was about people.. apparently my mam passed the test. Stella you were a beautiful soul your family will miss you immensely. My mam will be glad to have her friend, back but losing your mum, wife,sibling, grandmother and friend is so very hard. My thoughts are with you all

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Stella. She was such a lovely person, I have great memories of many great nights mostly in Murphys and the Village Inn, the craic was always mighty, with Stella and the Quinn family.
