It is with deep sadness I learn of Steph's passing. A beautiful lady I never met yet touched my heart in the sharing of our lived experiences (re: Camphill community) My heartfelt condolences to Brugh, his brother and sisters and all of Steph's family and friends.

Condolence to the Short family on Steffs passing. Steff was a wonderful caring and fun person. She served on the Camphill Family and Friends Committee with me for many years and was a wise and steady voice when needed most.
We had the pleasure of visiting Steff at her lovely home in Wexford and seeing her beautiful garden. We will miss her.

So very sad at the news of Steph’s passing. Bless her beautiful soul on her onward journey in the higher realms. Such grief for her very beloved family. Her passing leaves a void in this world which her warm, loving presence used to fill. She brought light everywhere she went which will always be remembered. Though our paths had diverged and busy lives meant we did not see much of each others in the past few years I was always aware of her energy on the other side of the country and thought of her often with much love. Condolences to Brugh, Emma,Cian and Nessa.

To dearest Emma, Brugh, Cian and Nessa - I want to send my sincere heartfelt condolences to you all on the passing of your beautiful mother Steph. Although we haven’t all been together for years - the times we spent growing up as next door neighbours in the wilds of Clarina are never forgotten.

Steph was such a lovely person, a bright light in every community she settled into. Childhood memories of the ‘out of this world’ birthday cakes from her family, the best treat bags for the circus, introducing us to lentils!! Her calm exterior and reaction when I returned her son covered head to toe in glitter I had found in my Mom’s press!! Her door was always open and we were welcomed into her house - day or night.

There is a new star added to the sky tonight looking down on us all.

Steph was such a dear friend to our family when we were in Limerick. We are all really sad to hear of her passing. She was such a support to me as a young mother. Full of fun and common sense. In life, there are special people who cross your path, who leave an indelible mark on you. Your Mam, Steph was one of those special people who radiated love, generosity and kindness. We had such memories in Limerick and the Limerick School Project. Then life consumes us, and we sadly lose contact. So, it was with a heavy heart this evening that I learnt of your Mam’s passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Brugh and family on the passing of your mum. Steph was a great supporter of the Camphill communities in Ireland and of Duffcarrig in particular. She will be sadly missed and remembered with great appreciation.
