The St Mary’s College PPU is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stephen Bailey, Class of 1995, and a proud Junior Cup winner of 1992.

Stephen was one of a close knit and much valued year, and his loss will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered as one of the great Mary’s men, someone who embodied the spirit, friendship and loyalty that define the College and its community.

As part of a wonderful Mary’s family, Stephen’s connection to the school ran deep, and that bond will endure through all who shared in it with him over the years.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his parents Robin and Kay, sister Amanda, his family, his partner Aga, and to all his classmates and friends. The Class of 1995 will undoubtedly honour him in a way that reflects the strength and unity that has always defined them as a year.

I remember how Stephen adored his family so much -Kay, Robin, Amanda, Zach, aunts, uncles, cousins and more. You were so important to him, and I am heart broken for you all. A big light has been lost from this Earth.

I was really saddened to hear of Stephens sudden passing. I only have the great memories of him over the years and always had a great laugh together when we met. He was a really one of the greatest guys and will be sorely missed.
