Jackie and family, we were shocked and saddened to hear of Stephen's passing. Although I never met him, in conversations with Jackie and Hannah in Sportsco he sounded like an extraordinary young man. He had a great attitude to life. We couldn't make it to the funeral as we were away. Our thoughts are with you for the difficult time you are going through. May his lovely soul rest in peace.

Stephen was always such a gent in the classroom. I remember him and his year group very fondly. They were my first class to have in Oatlands. Stephen will be so missed - I am honoured to have had the privilege of knowing and teaching him. May all the kind words people share with you over the next while and the memories of Stephen help ease your pain.

My deepest sympathy to Jackie, Liam, John and Hannah on the very sad passing of Stephen. He fought a brave battle over the past few years, helped by great family support. He managed to live his life in spite of his illness. I remember him as a very sound and steady pupil in St Mary's. He was a great athlete.
