My grandad Brendan passed away two years before I was born, so I never had the chance to know him or his family but it wasn’t until you reached out that I felt a real connection.

We shared messages, and it was so lovely. You reminded me so much of my grandad — and even my cousin Rob — in both looks and warmth.

The other day, I sat at Grandad’s grave and told him all about how lovely you were. I hope you get a good bed in heaven and get to have the laugh with my grandad. Love, Your cousin Shannon.

Well where do I start?

Stephen was a born entertainer who could walk into any room and light it up with his infectious laugh, cheeky smile and never ending stories of intrigue and humour told with such intensity, never failing to lose eye contact and finish with a sideways glance or a huge laugh.

He will be dreadfully missed by his family who he had such a big impact on with his larger than life personality.

Our thoughts and love go to Elaine and Joan at this challenging and sad time.

No words can describe what a big loss Stephen will be to his mam and his family. He was born funny ❤️ never a dull moment when he was around, loved a joke, a good story (always embellished) and he always made sure that his mother never got a holiday on her own. Stephen, was a great cousin, a great son, brother, uncle and friend to so many.
