Michael and Danielle,

I just heard from Paul about Stephen’s sudden passing last January. I am shocked and saddened by the news and I hope that the happy memories of the good times you all shared will bring you comfort and peace.

Mick, Danielle, I am so so sorry and saddened to just learn of the untimely death of Stephen. Please accept my sincerest condolences and pass same onto his wife and family. I have many happy memories of mischief and fun with the gang in Springfield. What difficult times we live in!

I have been seeing Mr. Flood for thirty years with my animals, and he was a wonderful vet, caring, kind, compassionate with a great sense of humour. I will miss him greatly and send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and children.

Big man, gentle hands. Stephen looked after my pets from his starting at Mercer and Hughes way back 30 years ago. To say he was a good vet is an understatement, he was an outstanding vet and one who should be emulated. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Stephen’s passing and my deepest sympathies go to the Flood family. Although many years have passed since we last met, I have very fond memories of Stephen from vet school – an intelligent and gifted man with a great sense of fun. May he rest in peace.

What a presence on and off the field. He had a thirst for life that's for sure. Stephen will be fondly remembered in conversations well into the future by those who went into battle with him.

My sincerest sympathy to the Flood family. Stephen (Floodser) had a standout rugby career in UCD and was a tremendous touring partner on our Australian expedition in 1984. Fond memories in every way. Very sorry for your sudden loss. I can assure you there are many UCD rugby colleagues toasting Stephen today. Godspeed.
