You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. It was a pleasure to have known Stephen while he was here in the US, and it was an honor to call him a friend. We will miss him.

Stephen, when we moved from St. Augustine, Vinnie cried that day. It wasn't because of the house, or the town, it was because he was leaving you. I never told you that, but I wish I had. There are parts of me that regret that decision, would things have been different? We love you so much, and will miss you in our lives. The kids love you, and Brielle is praying to you at night before she goes to sleep. Your family is beautiful and I am so grateful for them. Prayers for peace for all of the Herlihy family. We are so sorry.

To Stephens family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I have known Stephen for 14 years. He was a great friend. We will continue his charity for children as he requested. It was an absolute honor and privilege to know Stephen. He will forever have a place in my heart.

I just heard the news. My sincere condolences to the entire Herlihy family on your loss. I grew up with Stephen and unfortunately lost touch as I have been living in Canada since I emigrated at 20. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
