Sincerest Sympathies to all of the McCaffrey family and Lisnaskea CU Staff on the loss of Stephen. I had worked with Stephen for a number of years with the Credit Union. He was a great Credit Union Man, and community man, with a good sense of humour. Any time Galway made it to the All Ireland Final he would be very quick onto us to let us know how many tickets he could get his hands on, hoping one day we'd have the opportunity to return the favour to the Fermanagh crew. Very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Stephen. He was an absolute gentleman, a force to be reckoned with. Years ago I would spend time with him in the Credit Union when doing a job and he was always very funny, straight up and didn't mince his words which are great traits to have. I also know he was very fond of my late brother David and David was very fond of Stephen. I'm sure they'll be sharing a drink together soon.
