Dear Marian
We were so deeply saddened to hear that Stephen passed away so unexpectedly.
We deeply respect his life and legacy - not just his, but what you have both given, and what you will continue to give.
Nigel always greatly enjoyed times, chats and fellowship with Stephen, and involvement with him at the various conferences over many years.
He made us both laugh many times, and was truly a unique christian Irishman!
We were unable to get to the funeral as Nigel had an MRI the same morning. However, we've listened back to the beautiful service, and so enjoyed all the tributes, whether from Noel, your brother and especially your four kids. Their stories and memories were precious, hilarious (at times) and so authentic and real. Each brought something different, and so special.
We send our love to you Marian. A new journey lies ahead for you all - and we pray that you will feel the intense and tangible comfort of God, especially over Christmas and into the New Year.

I am a brother of the late Sean Tiernan of Woodhill ,Dromore West. Stephen was an enormous help to Sean as he suffered from cancer. Stephen gave Sean so much hope through his prayer and was always there for him. I believe this is what Stephen does all the time for people .He is is a great loss not only to his wife, Marion, children,grandchildren and all close to him but to the world.
My sincere sympathies to all mentioned above and to his siblings-Carol, Nicholas and Martina (all who I know from the past) and their families.

A beautiful service for such a lovely man. What a huge loss he must be to Marion, his family and all who knew him. The words and music were beautiful and so moving.
I met Stephen and Marion at the funeral of Brian McCormack, Aoife’s father.
I will always remember how struck I was by his charm and kindness.

I was so sorry to hear of Stephen's death. He was a carer for my father. Always went above and beyond. Nothing too much trouble. Mam, Dad and I were always glad to see him. He will be missed by so many.
