Stephen, so sorry you had to leave us. Felt like we had so much more to do.
It was a joy to play with you over the years and I’m blessed to have had the privilege to do so in the last year. I’ll forever cherish our little jam together in your car.
I hope you are in a happier place now and are at peace at last.

Words cannot express the sadness felt on hearing of Stephens untimely passing.

I have many fond memories of him growing up on Maple Drive. He was kind, gifted and a pure gentleman.

At many a gig his voice had the power to just stop you in your tracks so you heard nothing but his singing.

I will never forget all the kindness and support that he showed to my family at the time of my Dads passing.

Heartfelt condolences to his beautiful parents Catherine and Des. To his brothers Dec, Malcolm and Joe and also to his partner Frances, and children Aran, Christy and Roisin. His bright light dimmed too soon but it will remain with many of us for years to come. May his light shine down upon you during this time and beyond.

Although we both finished at the CBS with the L.C. class of 1997, I can vividly recall Stephen being a gifted hurler, musician, and a truly authentic soul.

Unfortunately I don’t have the words to ease your sadness or loss at this time but hopefully the endless love and affection we all had for Murph will at least be a start.

From when we worked together in Irishtown 20 something years ago to our last meeting recently doing the shopping, one thing was always the same. He had a smile on his face and had a genuine interest in you.
