My deepest condolences to Stephens family and friends. Lovely neighbours we grew up together and went to the same school growing up. Great memories. May he rest in peace.
I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen a few years ago when I worked in St Mary's Park and would call into him often. I remember he loved Magnums and he fell around Christmas time one year. I was told by the nursing staff his slippers were a hazard so I took him in new ones. He was not too impressed and told me "You can't take my slippers" to which I replied "you can't catch me!". He would always smile and refered to us as "my girls". He nagged me often when he gave up smoking and Id return the favour about his stick. He was a tonic on a busy day. A gentleman who I will miss.
Our deepest sympathy to all the o,donoghue family.on the passing of stephen.may he r.i.p.
