Dear Donald, Hilary, Simon, Amanda, Ivan, Vanessa, Nikki and Ethan.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am still struggling to believe that Steve has gone. We had started to rekindle our friendship and had sat down a couple of times to reminisce over our formative late teens and early 20s. We had sorted a lot out and I was certainly looking forward to the end of COVID and the chance to properly hang out.

I will miss him, as will almost everyone who new him will too. I don’t know anyone who comes even close to the person he was, may he Rest In Peace

Simon Mr and Mrs Pratt it is with great sadness that I have heard of Stephens passing He added greatly to my first few years working in kilmacanogue with his good sense of humour and great smile.

Dear Nikki, Ethan, Donald, Hilary, & all the Pratt family. I only met Stephen a handful of times when I was working at the Rathcoole store back when it was being opened. Stephen was a great character. Our conversations were mainly around cars, as two petrol heads weren't often found on the shop floor. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

Stephen was a great friend in KH, we rekindled our friendship after the school reunion. He was always such an approachable, friendly, caring, kind , sincere and full of fun guy!

I was so sad to hear of Stephen’s passing. I’ve only met Stephen a few times in the RES whilst walking my dog and Stephen would be walking Milo. Dear Donald and Hilary and to all the Pratt Family - I read, with horror, that you have lost your beloved Stephen and I wish to express my sincere condolences to you all.

I only met Stephen once but judging from all those warm and heart rendering sympathy messages he was a popular and remarkable person who had time for everyone who crossed his path who came away the better for it.

It doesn't matter "if you were ready for it" or how stoic you may have been because the truth is that you have lost a very special person in your lives who cannot be replaced. It hurts.

No parents should lose a child and all of you must now face the agony of grief under difficult circumstance.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Stephen in person but we made contact due to my dog been stolen over 10 years ago by phone and he tried to help me find her and he didn’t even know me. Such a lovely kind caring man who loved his son and wife as he spoke of them both fondly and his love for cars and animals . Thinking of you all . May he rest in peace
