To the Harding Family, sincere sympathy at this time on the death of Stephen. I worked with Stephen in Wicklow over a number of years. He was a great professional and very dedicated to delivering the best service he could to the community. May he rest in peace.

Heartfelt sympathy to Alice and all Stephens loved ones. I had the joy and privilege to work with Stephen on the Maynooth university addiction programme. His irreverence, wit, sensitivity and wisdom was ever present, and the world will be a duller place without him.

Have only now heard of Stevie's untimhly death; my sincerest condolences to his wife and family who he adored. His beatific smile and humility will remain in our memory. A great, great loss to the many he helped along the way.

Alice and family, I am very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was a great friend and mentor to me since my days in Trinity and right through all of my working life in the addiction field, and even beyond that in the last five years. I will miss him dearly, his wit, honesty and humanity. He loved his family and ye were a huge comfort to him in the past couple of years during his illness. May Steve rest in peace.

Condolences to Alice. I worked with Steve in Dental in Cornmarket and Emmet House. He was very fond of his music and of course Tottenham. All the clinical staff enjoyed his humour and banter. Of course I can vividly recall Steve and Alice walking out.

Stevie recommended a trip to Mullaghmore even for a heathen like me.He made sure I got the room with the en- suite.In Lanzarote he would pass on the info to try and get a room in front of the hotel because it got cool in the evening. His wisdom and intelligence and sense of humour made him a good face to see in the crowd knowing.i would soon be laughing and smiling.Young Gary sit down and talk to me would soon lead to advice good or bad.I really enjoyed his company and human spirt.RIP Amigo
