Our deepest condolences to the family. We were saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He was such a lovely neighbour and always so helpful, especially when it came to technology. Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. May Steve rest in peace.
We only heard today about Steve's passing. We are in total shock. Steve and Karen were brilliant neighbours in Beale. Many a time he helped us cope with the wifi! Our sincerest sympathies to Ciaran and Sam. We are so sorry we can't come tonight to the funeral home. We are committed elsewhere. But hopefully we can keep in touch. Your father was a kind and very special man.
Steve,
We are all so shocked to the core.
Just hours before you eternally drifted you serenaded us all at the Open Mic night in the Cearnog just like you did every Thursday night. You were such a beautifully positive man who always had a great big smile on your face no matter what and to quote you .. you "always look on the bright side of life".You were so supportive of every musician in our little group and the Open Mic won't be the same without you and your one of a kind quirky songs and soul.
Deepest condolences to Cíaran who was always by your side to support and listen and to your daughter. Rest in peace Steve x

Our sincere condolences to sam and family of the sudden loss of Steve
May Steve rest in peace
I'm deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Steve. It was a privilege to work closely with him during our time at Rubrik. Beyond his technical brilliance, what stood out to me was his passion for life, whether it was playing in his band or speaking lovingly about his family. He was not only an exceptional colleague but also a truly remarkable person.

I have so many fond memories of our time together, and I will always remember his kindness, humor, and dedication. My heart goes out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. Wishing them strength and peace in the days ahead.
I worked with Steve for more than 3 years in Rubrik. We said a few times to invite him to headquarter to offsite but now we do not have a chance to do so anymore. I got his help many times. I had asked him twice to help me attend customer calls (both are hard issues) in the Ireland timezone. He was happy to help me right away and told me he took full responsibility for the customer case, which made me feel safe and relieved. I appreciated him a lot! I also remember once we discussed an issue, he mentioned a wiki I wrote was great. I am happy he read it and grateful for his recognition.

Whenever he speaks in the meeting, he provides critical insights into our hard issues. He is very knowledgeable about the Linux system issues. Some of the concepts he mentioned brought many inspirations to me and gave me some pointers to do homework to digest his suggestions. I never knew his career in the past until I read the Internet Eireann accomplishment he did years ago. It was amazing! That is a great contribution. This makes me admire him more.

He is a humours guy. I am not a native speaker of English. Sometimes I googled about some of the jokes he made (they are funny). Other times I can feel his good personality by his words. I am sure he is a funny guy in life. I still remember his smiling face when he turned on video in meetings. He must be a loving father, husband, and friend.

This is a great loss for his family. All of his friends and family would remember him forever!
I’m deeply saddened by the loss of Steve. He was truly full of life and humor, always finding ways to bring joy to those around him. For me, Steve was a great mentor who consistently guided with his wisdom, kindness, and laughter. His impact on my life is immeasurable, and I will forever be grateful for the time we shared. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved him. May we find comfort in the memories and legacy he leaves behind.
It has been a shock to hear about Steve's demise. I worked with Steve at Rubrik. Steve was a great engineer, mentor and above all a human being with a large heart.

May his soul rest in peace.
My heartfelt condolences to the family. This came as a shock. Only last week me and my team were actively working with Steve. This goes to show how fragile life is and how important it is for all of us to be full of gratitude.

Steve was full of humor and life. In all meetings he participated in, he was curious, engaging, and optimistic. He was a rare soul who would never say no to anyone. Very high on integrity. Always there to help. We built a new team in India and he was the guardian angel - always guiding, helping, mentoring the young engineers in the team and nurturing their talent with love and patience.

He will be sorely missed. I would remember his infectious smile, hunger to solve problems, and ability to bring out the best in people.

Rest in Peace Steve.
I've worked with Steve from the time he first came to Rubrik. He not only brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise, but an incredible sense of humor and positive attitude. My sincere sympathies to the family.
