I’m shocked and saddened to hear the passing of Stephen, he was a lovely fella who I worked with briefly and always had great chats and laughs, an angel may he rest in peace 🙏🏼

I was very sad when I heard that Steven had died. I remember him well at school. He was brave in the face of serious illness. He never let his illness get in the way of his life. He was involved in every activity that he could be. He would have been very happy to see his beloved Liverpool win the Premiership this year. This is terribly sad news. As a teacher of Steven's, in Haddington Road 2007-2000, I have great memories of his bravery in the face of his health issues at the time. He just got on with life and threw himself into everything.
He never let his illness stop him enjoyimg the life of a normal schoolboy. I offer my deepest sympathy to all his family on this huge loss.
