I recall Stewart popping into the hardware in Rathcoole on many an occasion. He was always full of fun and in good form, despite the challenges of being up against deadlines and being on the road. He was a lovely man and the many condolences here are testament to his good-hearted nature and the numerous lives he touched.

Olive, Shane, Brian and extended Davis family, my sincere condolences to you all. I had great fun singing tunes into the wee hours with Stewart at Josh and Edel's wedding, great memories made. I was so sorry to hear of his death. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May he rest in peace.

Our hearts are truly broken for Olive, Shane, Brian, Dick, Ken, Gordon, and Sheila on the sad, sad passing of your beloved Stewart.
He was the most admirable man—kind, generous, and endlessly selfless. He first worked with Dad in Bawn and became such a wonderful friend to our family through both the good times and the hard ones. We will never forget his quiet strength and unwavering support.
Little did we know, when Dad passed just 10 months ago, that Stewart—despite having his arm in a sling—would insist on carrying Dad’s coffin. That simple act spoke volumes about the man he was. He always went above and beyond for everyone, never seeking recognition, only wanting to help in any way he could.
One thing I have learned from Stewart’s passing is how much the world needs more people like him. We could all take a leaf out of his book and strive to be as truly selfless, kind, and caring as he was.
We will miss him so very much. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory and the example he set will stay with us always.
This is not a goodbye, but see you later ♥️

Very sad to learn of Stuart’s passing. Our deepest sympathies to Olive and family, and to Sheila, Dick and the entire Davis and Dann families. Great memories of Stewart from our time in our family pub in Knock where he was a beloved customer and friend - he always had time for us even as wee kids. His laugh was infectious, his presence was unmissable and his good character and community spirit was the very core of his being. May he rest in peace.
