Stewart Herbert

I have clear memories of chatting to Stewart when he used to visit his parents in Schull in early to mid Seventies. He was always interested, interesting and polite. My sincerest sympathies to Jennifer on the sad loss of her brother. May he rest in peace. Michael O'Riordan, retired from AIB.

Jennifer, I was very sorry to hear of Stewart's passing. It has been a long and difficult illness and he is now at peace.
I have great memories of Stewart both as a player and leader in Leinster Tennis Club for many years. Significantly, the Club's hard courts are a fitting legacy to his hard work and commitment at that time.
He was a gentlemen who will be missed.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Stewart for many years in GRE/AXA and he was always very helpful to me. We umpired together often at many hockey matches.

Very sorry to hear of Stewarts passing. I worked with" Herbie " in Gre/Guardian and played hockey in Pembroke Wanderers with him. Got my only ever yellow card from him and we joked about it for years after. Rest in peace 🏑🎾⛳️🏏

Our sincere condolences to Jennifer and Colin on the very sad passing of Stewart who was also known to his work colleagues and friends in GRE/AXA as 'Herbi'. I worked with him for almost 40 years and he was a good friend and colleague all throughout that time. When we retired we enjoyed many a game of golf followed by coffee in the Gables.
