Sue was a great friend to my Mam in the choir for years. She often collected her and dropped her off and I believe they shared some craic on choir trips away.
I was lucky enough to share time with Sue in the choir too. She was a wonderful, kind, intelligent, strong, witty, compassionate and interesting woman. Here's to a great singsong in heaven tonight.

My first memories of your Mum are back in our early school days in St Catherine’s & her big warm welcoming smile. Her interest in all our stories, hobbies & interests never left me. Since your college days your Mum had a special place in her heart for Leonard & vice versa. Memories of Christmas in the Killumney Inn and the Curtin household are legendary. All our memories of your Mum are all so warm & so happy.
Susan was an absolute lady & a wonderful person, wife, Mum and Granny. She was an inspiration & would leave many half her age in the shade in how she embraced change, evolved & adapted & grew throughout her life. Her character shone through in everything she turned her hand to & she had a most beautiful voice.
Her sense of humour & happiness was infectious, as much for others as herself.
Her greatest joy in life was of course John & her beloved family. Her legacy lives on in the great work and services you have spearheaded Laura in the south west in your work and fundraising on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
She was always and will continue to be as proud as punch of her beloved family, especially this week. Such a beautiful tribute to her beautiful life & pure soul.
