Our sincere condolences to Will, Dylan, Beth & Jake on your deep loss. Susan was a fantastic person with great energy and time for all.
Thinking of you at this very sad time.
From all at RMDS both past & present.
You had such fortitude and courage in your illness Susan, always thinking of the effect on everyone else. I doubt you knew how much you were loved and how much you will be missed. All our love to Will, Dylan, Beth and Jake.
“I am all at once what Christ is, since he
was what I am, and
This Jack, joke, poor potsherd, patch,
matchwood, immortal Dimond,
Is immortal Dimond

- Gerard Manley Hopkins

Will, Dylan, Beth, Jake, Rina, Miriam, Naomi, Hugh - and all who are so heavily affected by this loss - there are no words, no ways to excuse or understand this most utter robbery of one of our world's most beautiful souls. She lives and breathes in this city, she has crafted it, mastered it, moulded it, enriched it - all from her quiet place, nonchalant in the background, never seeking credit, never asking for more.

She deserved more but she will be an icon in our eyes forever, a fully wise, fully accomplished humanity beacon for us all to aspire to. Something radiates from Susan, and however dimmed, it will be immortal.

She came in a dream to me a few days ago, in her funny way, telling me she intends to do more from where she's going than she was ever allowed where she's been.....

small condolences, fierce love - forever here if you need anything and huge hugs.

"She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and it took only her laugh to realize that beauty was the least of her." - Atticus
Susan, nous avons tous été bouleversés par ton courage et ta force; et nous sommes si tristes maintenant.

To Will and family, to Miriam, Naomi and Hugh and your respective families please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Susan. A beautiful, softly spoken grounded lady taken all to soon.
To Rina, I cannot imagine what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you now...may your memories sustain you through the pain of grieve and the arms of your family give you the strength to keep going.
Our deepest sympathy to you Rene on the death of your daughter
Sorry for your loss
Susan was a truly brilliant architect from the very beginning and, as I quickly discovered, a wonderful person as well - which is of much, much greater value of worth in living life. I can honestly say that without her, there would have been no Ark in Temple Bar: without her calm, soothing stability, her even keel, that lovely ship would never have reached its safe port, perhaps not even have left the flooding shore. Many of us, including Susan, lost our fathers suddenly during that job. I am so sorry for Will and especially her beloved children now to have lost Susan. She was great, in every way. But the way she grew the symbolism of an Ark throughout her later career, focused on the existential threat to humanity through climate crisis, will, I hope, be a consolation. She held the torch high.
Deepest sympathy Rina. My prayers are with you at this sad time
