My sincere sympathies to Sue’s family and friends on the passing of Sue. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Sue last year. She had a beautiful smile and brought her sunny disposition to every engagement I had with Sue. Her smile will forever remain with me. I am so sorry for your loss. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Amen.
I just learned of Sue’s passing and I’m completely shocked and devastated.

Sue was my first ever boss in advertising and later gave me my first opportunity to get back into the industry in Ireland after living abroad. Sue was the best mentor I ever had, an inspiration and someone I looked up to and admired so much. She was also a dear friend and confidante and I will cherish our many lunch and dinner dates, nights out, D&Ms, chats and laughs.

I’m so sorry for your immeasurable loss Angus and I’m thinking of you, Maura, Duncan and all her family. I heard about how much she loved you all.

Rest easy gorgeous, powerful, incredible Sue. You were really one in a million and will be so so dearly missed 💔
Sincere condolences to Sue’s family and friends. She was such a lovely person and so talented. I will remember her fondly.
I had the pleasure of working with Sue in O2 and again in PTSB. Sue was such a warm and kind person. She brought such energy and fun to everything she worked on Sue was such a gentle soul. Sincere condolences to Angus and the Cleary family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
Dear Angus, it was with great sadness that we learnt of Susan's passing. We offer our deepest condolences to you, your dad Tony, and all of your and Susan's family and friends.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam
Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Duncan, Maura, Angus, Liadhan, Freyja and Odin, to her wider family and many, many friends.

Sue, the world was much better with you in it.

Shine on.
Sincere condolences on the loss of beautiful Sue Cleary.
I had the pleasure of working alongside Sue during our O2 years. Always so warm and empathetic, Sue had a lovely spirit. I loved her company.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
May she rest in peace.
I only learned of Sue's passing today and I am so deeply saddened by the news. She was a mentor to me in recent years and such a strong support and kind person. She had such empathy and always offered both a listening ear and encouragement to believe in myself, and she helped me to grow and develop in my career, but also as a person. She always has time to listen and support me in my personal struggles, and offered guidance and support which made a huge difference to me. In the short time that I knew her I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to hear from her wisdom and life experience, and despite the short time, she made a great impact on me. She is such a great loss and will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace Sue xx
I met Sue during my first job in Cawley Nea in 2010. Over the years we kept in touch and met on a few occasions in Amsterdam. Sue was so encouraging and was my first text/call when I was looking for career advise. She was always so happy to help, offer advice and was so generous with her time. I'm so sad to hear this news and pass my condolences to the family.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Sue Cleary’s passing—news that only reached me yesterday and has weighed heavily on my heart ever since. Sue was the consummate professional, a rare blend of talent, warmth, and integrity.

Our paths first crossed over 20 years ago at Ogilvy—Sue with Bell Advertising and myself within the network—and from those early days, I was struck by her sharp mind and generous spirit. Over the years, we worked together in various guises, and although life often got in the way, we always managed to stay in touch.

I will always treasure our catch-up lunches, where we laughed, shared stories, and tried to put all the marketing world’s wrongs to right. She was taken far too young, and her absence will be deeply felt.

My heartfelt condolences to her beloved husband Angus, her loving mother Maura, her brother Duncan, sisters-in-law Liadhan and Louise, niece Freyja, nephews Odin and Tom, her father Tony, father-in-law Anthony, and her extended family.

Sue was a dear friend and will be sorely missed.

I only learned of Sue’s passing today and am deeply saddened to hear the news. I had the pleasure of working with Sue many years ago at Ogilvy. She was a truly lovely person always full of fun and energy. She did remarkable pro bono work for the Samaritans back then. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
Saddened to hear about Sue's passing. Had great craic working together at various points over the years. We thought we'd made it when we got to meet President Mary McAleese through our work on the Samaritans way back when. She was wonderful person, may she rest in peace.
I have only just learned that you have left us Sue, I am so saddened. You were a colleague first, and very quickly became a friend, a confidante and a very dangerous partner in crime in various establishments around Dublin.
Thank you for the joy you shared, your kindness, your wit, your wonderful smile, your laughter, your friendship and your joy.
The world is a little less bright today.
Le meas
Lynne
Condolences to Sue’s husband and her family at this very sad time. I was shocked to hearing of her passing. I was a client of Sue’s when she worked in TBWA, and she always had a friendly hello when I met her at industry events over the years. May she rest in peace.
So sad to hear this. I've always admired Sue's infectious enthusiasm, kindness and can-do attitude and it was always a pleasure to work with her down through the years. Another star in the marketing firmament has been sadly extinguished far too early.
I first met Sue when we started working with IDL. Sue and her team were already working with them and she brought us into IDL agency family with open arms. She had contagious energy and smiles - something I always appreciated, especially from someone so senior and so well respected. I'm so sorry to hear about her passing. My deepest condolences to Sue's family, from all of us in Core.
Sue was an absolute legend in the advertising industry. One of the kindest, warmest, and most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Her generosity of spirit and positive energy left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.
I've just heard the sad news and can't believe it. My condolences to Angus and all of Sue's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Sue in CKSK. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Rest in Peace Sue
I first met Sue for a coffee meeting in Grand Canal Dock in 2021 after she was recommended by everyone! By the time we left, I felt like I had just had a great catch up with my best friend. She worked very closely with me on a number of projects in The Mix Irish Distillers. I loved when she was popping in from next door for our catch ups in Simmonscourt and I would always find her in full swing & chats with Liz at reception.
"People forget what you said but people will never forget how you made them feel". Sue was a radiator, all I felt was warmth and it feels like it was always sunny when she was around!
She made 14 sets of Swearbeads for a girlie trip to Ibiza which I'll keep safe forever.
To Angus and to all Sue's family and friends, I am truly so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful soul. She will be missed by so many. RIP Sue ⭐️
Angus and Susans Family, my deepest condolences, may she rest in peace. Take care at this very very difficult time. I am keeping her and you all in my prayers,

On behalf of the Williamson, Murnaghan, and Kyne families, I want to send you all our love and deepest sympathies.

She was taken from this world too soon. Please know you are in our hearts and prayers 🙏
So shocked and saddened to hear of Sue’s passing. We worked together on O2 & Heineken projects over the years and she was always such a bright, beautiful and talented person. When all was going wrong, Sue was sure to put it right! Sending love to Sue’s partner and her family at this very difficult time. Gone far too soon.
I had the good fortune of sitting beside the fabulous Sue at a mutual friends' wedding. I met her just this once. She left her mark.
So saddened was I to hear of her untimely passing.

Sue was a fabulous combination of elegance, style, super-smarts, and great craic. I'm deeply saddened by this news. Condolences to Angus and the Cleary family.

Duncan, Liadhan, The Cleary Family and Angus. Our deepest sympathies on he loss of your sister Duncan. Thinking of you all. May she rest in peace.
I have so many memories of days at Cawley Nea with Sue, driving to meetings in her little sports car with her teaching us new recruits the ways of the advertising world. She interviewed me for my first role in advertising and I’ll always be grateful to her. She was great fun and gorgeous. I’m so very sorry to hear of her passing and for all those who loved her.
Dear Susan, I shall always remember your beautiful smiling face and delightful, happy and wonderful personality. You will be so greatly missed by everyone who knew you. I have a lasting vision of you arriving for your wedding, so beautiful and so happy in the horse drawn carriage.
Love, Margaret.
Sue’s brilliant reputation preceded her & it was a real pleasure to finally get to work with her in 2019. My thoughts & condolences to Sue’s husband, family & friends on this devastating loss. Sinead x
So many fuzzy memories of long lunches heading in to evenings, so many crystal clear ones working with the inimitable Sue. Thoughts are with her family and the love of her life, Angus.
Duncan and family, my sincere condolences at your loss. I met Susan briefly when I bumped into you at the Kraftwerk concert in Trinity a couple of years back. She was incredibly warm and friendly, with a great spirit of fun amongst you all.

Rest in peace.
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Sue's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Sue for many years during her time in CKSK. Sue's radiant energy was always palpable, and she was never without a smile. Her positivity was contagious, and she was a real joy to be around. I am thinking of Sue, Angus, and all her family and friends at this time.
To all of Sue's family, I can't imagine the pain and loss you're feeling over the loss of someone as incredible as Sue. I first met Sue when I was a very junior member of the Nivea Marketing Team in 2006 and she was the Account Director in Cawley Nea. Sue was incredibly patient with me and generous with her time as she guided and coached me through my earliest advertising campaigns. Sue and I grew to be good work friends after a brand planning trip to Marbella where we had so much fun in Sinatra's Bar, we still reminisced over that trip 12 years later. I went on to work with Sue in Irish Distiller's and her professionalism and warmth supported me through some challenging projects. What I'll remember Sue most for was that amazing smile which never seemed to leave her face and how she always looked so stylish! Even when the pressure was mounting Sue had a way of calming those around her. It's hard to believe someone so full of life has gone but thank you for the memories and all you taught me Sue, you were fantastic in every way x
Deepest sympathies to Angus and to all of Sue's family and many friends. I had the good fortune to work with Sue for many years at Cawley Nea. Her incredible smile, razor sharp intellect and fun she brought, will never be forgotten. A brilliant professional who enriched the lives of all she met. May she rest in peace
I was lucky enough to start my working career along Sue in Ogilvy. It really was in at the deep end stuff, but Sue was always there to help make sure i didn't sink. I was forever impressed by how she was with clients and colleagues. Impossible deadlines, mad feedback and crazy personalities all dealt with a smile, calm perspective and a lot of laughs.
Our paths crossed so much over the years and she was always the same. Ageless, graceful and a load of fun. So shocked by the news of her passing and thinking of Angus and all of her extended family and friends.
Sincere condolences to Angus and all the Cleary and Fleming family on the sad loss of Sue. I had worked with Sue on several projects and always found her hugely supportive, informed, wanting to support the client and her agency and as well great fun! Sue was so very knowledgeable it was always good to talk with her. Susan RIP.
Worked with Sue at PTSB - such a beautiful person inside and out. So creative, smart and genuine. Sending deepest condolences to Sue’s family at this sad time
On behalf of Iapi colleagues, our members and stakeholders, I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Angus and family. Rest In Peace Sue.
Having had the opportunity to meet Sue for many chats about agency life over the years and the gigs we both had, it was something I so looked forward to, she was so good at what she did, so supportive and stoic, but behind all that was a woman with an enormous sense of fun, I still have her swear beads which she gave me as a gift, and to you Angus and your beloved dogs you were her foundation and happiness
a wonderful person who brought light into everyone's life with grace and meaning
we will miss her
So sad to hear the news. Worked with Sue a good few times over the years and she was so creative, fun and lovely. A real star. Remembering our crazy WIP lists, production sheets, excel cost schedules, storyboards, travel days, swear bead word planning and lots more. Our South Africa work trip for Jameson is a highlight memory. Asiye. Will miss her. Sending love and hugs to all of the Cleary’s - and Angus in particular. May she rest in peace 🌺

Shocked and so sad to hear about beautiful Sue’s passing. Such lovely memories of her from the Cawley Nea days and beyond, for ‘drinkies’ as she’d say and the chats. Thinking of you Angus and all her many friends and family at this heartbreaking time. She will be missed hugely ❤️
So sad to hear the news about kind, lovely, gorgeous Sue. I was lucky to work with Sue back in the Cawley Nea days. Not only was she brilliant at her job but she always brought a sense of fun and mischief to the office. Everyone loved working with her. If she wasn’t smiling it was because she was laughing.

Sincere condolences to Angus and the Cleary and Fleming families.
