To Mr. and Mrs. Forde, Bernard, John and all the family. I was heartbroken by this sad news. Susan was a fantastic woman. I have great memories of our time together in Dublin and Fossa long ago, when we were students. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I have such special memories of Susan from our time working together as OTs at Enable Ireland in Naas. We had so many good times, particularly memorable was our 24hour trip to Paris to cheer on the football team! She was always up for fun.

I learnt so much of her positive energy and humor, her openness for new ideas, and all the challenges she mastered with brilliance and unmatched courage, her curiosity about the world, another countries and cultures. Wherever you were, you left the immense impact on other people.
My son was as a child the biggest fan of Susan and loved the funny time with her and the lemon cake she made especially for him.
I am very grateful for the time we spent together in Germany, USA, Irland, Scotland and all the love, friendship, support and encouragement I received from Susan.
