Shocked to hear of the passing of my beautiful aunt Geraldine. There are no words that can describe how much I will miss you.I will never forget our chats ,the laughter, the stories we shared I love you. I was honoured to have you as my Aunt and friend. Very saddened to hear of Susan's passing. I haven't seen for a number of years but she came into my thoughts in recent months. She was a very funny and kind lady. May she be forever at peace. My sympathies to all the family.

She was a good friend, neighbour and a kind and caring babysitter to our children when she lived in Ashington. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Susan was a lady and greatly contributed to making Bulfin Court a special place to live and age. She introduced most of us to Mario Lanza and she embraced and enjoyed life. She had her health struggle in the past few months but she dealt with it as best she could and in a dignified manner. She is a huge loss to us and to all who knew her in Bufin Court. My friendship with Geraldine began in Dublin in the 1960s through our shared love for the voice of Mario Lanza. We stayed in touch after I moved to the United States and reunited reunited several years ago at Dublin's National Concert Hall for a unique and wonderful tribute to Lanza, "The Loveliest Night of the Year," the idea for which came from Geraldine.
She was a lovely lady and a dear and cherished friend.

Farewell, my dearest and closest friend. You loved life, courageously battling illness to the end. Even then, your compassion and concern for others was so great.

I'm so lucky to have known you and admired you as a person in your own right. Your intelligence and creativity was partly hidden by your sharp wit and great fun to be with. No doubt, you're raising a laugh in Heaven right now and when I look up at the moon next time (which I know you ofter did) I'll know that you're looking down on it from that same Heaven.

You may have left us but know that:
"A loved one never dies,
They merely close their eyes".

So sad to hear of Susan’s passing she was a great neighbour when she lived in Ashington Grove all those years ago.
Susan was also a great nanny to our children David and Lisa and we have so many happy memories of those special times,may her gentle soul rest in peace.

It's with a very sad heart I'm saying farewell to my beautiful Auntie Geraldine. You were never imposing, but always there when we needed you most, especially during times of bereavement when our spirits were very low. Your words of wisdom kept us going, and while always being respectful, in your own inimitable way, would say something witty to make us laugh and lighten the mood. Your were also a great woman for the church readings. Your beautiful cards and text messages for birthday's and anniversaries with those comforting words will be sadly missed. It has been a pleasure and an honour to have had a beautiful lady like you as my Aunt. May you rest in peace.

Rest in peace is Suzy, you were always a fantastic mother who gave me a sense of confidence and self-assurance from the earliest of days. When I was younger you taught me to have great manners in life.

It has been my greatest life pleasure and accomplishment to return help when you needed it the most. During the previous 5 years I have developed a deep friendship with you that I did not think was possible with a mother.

I have not only lost a mother but also a best friend. Over the previous two weeks your bravery and courage while considering the inevitable has taught me more than I have ever known. The world has lost a special person.
