Susan was always so kind and welcoming to me as teenagers and young adults whenever I would call to see James to hang out and play music to the late hours. I have such fond memories of her and the times we spent up at the Lawlors house. My sincere condolences to the whole Lawlor family - She was a really lovely woman and no doubt sorely missed by all who knew her.

My sincere sympathy to Paul and all of Susan's family. I have special memories of many conversations with her and Paul at Bridies Bar in Bridgetown. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to Paul and family on your immense loss. It was a privilage to know Susan and to enjoy her company in Tomhaggard every Monday morning. She was an inspiration to us in the creative writing group and especially in how she lived life to the full.
