My thoughts are with Patrick, Jane, John and Luke on this very sad day. What a lovely service and celebration of Sue's life! As I remember my school friend, I think of the laughter and fun we had during our very many life experiences. I loved that she called me Bird; and she was always a positive, cheerful, kind and endearing friend. I will take our memories with me until the end of time. RIP my darling friend

I am very sad to learn of Sue’s untimely passing. It has brought to mind some wonderful childhood memories of Ardsallagh, especially one of sharing the generous (bareback) of Sue’s sweet roan, Bob ‘down the ferns’ (Jane on her bay mare) on a dewy early morning before being driven to school - wet socks and uniform proudly decked with horsehair.
