The tributes paid to her are so beautiful, one of my colleagues knew Susan and spoke so highly of her. I had the privilege of working with Susan for a short time in McEgan. She was team teaching in a maths class with me. Although she professed to be useless at math she was very kind and patient with the students who needed her care and attention. Her natural empathy shone from her and her kindness came from her soul. She will be greatly missed here.
We shared many chats over a cuppa & I am delighted to have known her even for such a short time.
May Susan fly with the angels & rest in peace.

I worked with Susan for Several years in Cork. Susan epitomised a true professional in all her dealings with both staff and students. Each and every one of them was very fond of Susan. It was with shock and sadness when I heard that Susan contracted cancer. She was such a lovely person and is very much missed. I wish to offer my deepest heartfelt condolences to Diarmuid, Seán, Ella, Claire and all of Susan's extended family.
