So sad to hear of Susan’s passing. We were so close since childhood through these many years. A great friend always. Although we lived far apart in our later years, Susan was always there for me every time I returned to Cork. I will truly miss her. Deepest condolences to Alan and the Powell family.

I am so sad to hear of Susan’s passing. I met her when we were 5 on our first day of school at Miss Taltys in Sundays Well . We were best friends through school and later until we both married . We stayed in touch for years then distance life and work intervened . She was the most beautiful woman I ever met . She also had a beautiful soul and we had many happy times together .
