Susanne BACH

I am only now receiving the news of Suzanne’s death. I’m so very sorry. She was always such a warm and lively contributor to any group.
I knew her because I presented workshops in TRTherapy over many years. Her lively, honest presence was always a great contribution. Please accept my condolences to all her family and friends.

I'm saddend to hear of Susanne's passing. She was a wonderful person.

I had the pleasure to meet her and learn from her during my time with CAPA in Ireland in 2017.

Susanne was a pleasure to be around and would always do her best to showcase the Irish culture and locations with us! If we needed help, she was always there to lend a helping hand.

She will be sorely missed! My deepest condolences to her family.

My sincere condolences to Susanne's family, friends and colleagues. I had the pleasure of meeting her through my study abroad program nearly a decade ago now and it was with her and her CAPA constituents' guidance and support that I not only had an amazing program in Ireland, but ultimately moved back to the country permanently and pursued my Master's degree. Her work has so clearly touched many lives and though we did not know each other for long, I so appreciate the impact she had on my life path. Sending love and strength to those who cherished her most.

I was blessed to have been passed Susanne’s details from someone that described her as the beautiful soul that is echoed by so many within this book. As I boarded the bus to Glendalough under Susanna’s navigation. The driver welcomed me & again echoed the highest regard for the beautiful soul that is Susanna. On meeting her I could instantly feel the loving kindness energy that she radiated.
Our loss is indeed heavens gain!

I am shocked by Susanna’s drowning. She was an exquisite human being who was so welcoming whilst at the Sanctuary for about 4 days during Christmas 2023. She was remarkably helpful. Indeed I was sad when she went to Germany for Christmas. I missed her. Now I’ll always remember her with love in my heart. Too tragic for words.

Susanne entered my life through Glendolough and the magic of that retreat/sanctuary. I was supposed to go somewhere else but the spirit led me there. She will always be present to me. although I only spent time with her twice. She shared the bar with first editions, she drove by your home David to share that and took me to Killruddery where she celebrated her birthday and bought me a canvas bag which I treasure, to remember Wicklow. I purchased your book, Famine and printed out her picture to put by it over a year ago. Susanne taught me to let go and be grateful for each day and relax into that gratitude. I truly believe matter and energy can not be created or destroyed .... she is still with us on another dimension. Your grief, our grief at her loss is real and deep but I hope you can find comfort in reflecting on the amazing life her spirit brought to all who crossed her path. Namaste

I met Susanne on a few different occasions in Glendalough Sanctuary. She was kind, thoughtful and full of goodness and humanity. A beautiful soul. I feel so sorry for her friends and family. Susanne had a wonderful presence and positively impacted so many who have been there. I want to express my condolences to the wonderful people in Glendalough Sanctuary who will miss her so much.

I was sadden to hear about the death of Susanne, she gave us a loving presence when we visited the sanctuary in glendalough early May 2025 from An Taiseach Ecology center Wicklow. She was a most gracious woman. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. May she now enjoy the fulness of life.

I got such a shock when I read of Susanne’s sudden death. She was always so welcoming and warm to me when I visited the Sanctuary and it soon felt like she’d always been there. I first met Susanne when arriving to study abroad in Dublin, Ireland. This was my first time leaving the United States solo and visiting Europe. It was the comfort and compassion from Suzanne and her fellow CAPA co-workers that made me feel at ease and at home. I remember as we were finishing up our semester abroad, there was a dinner held for all the students with Suzanne present. Hearing how proud she was of each and every student and how much they were going to miss us truly meant the world. It may have only been four months, but we were 3,000 miles from home and Suzanne, Haley and Darren were there for us. My condolences to her family and friends. ❤️

I first met Susanne in September of 2019. I was in Ireland as a study abroad student. Her kindness and warmth made the fears and worries of traveling to a new place completely melt away. She was the kind of person that made you feel at home, even in a world of entirely new faces.

I'll always cherish the time i was able to spend with her in my short tome as a CAPA student. Susanne was a light unlike any other. She will be dearly missed. ❤️
